Playing In The Snow

I know last weekend left a lot of people with snow. Not us, we have a beautiful green front lawn right now, any of the few inches we had Saturday morning was melted by noon. However, Lisa's parents got a ton - over a foot. We decided to go play in it.

We all bundled up pretty good, but London was the best. All the clothes said 2T (which she wears), but with these she can grow into them for a while. It was like the little brother in the Christmas Story. She fell forward once and couldn't get back up without help, I tried not to laugh at her too much as she waddled around. At least she was warm (we do need better gloves for both the kids).

Ben Loved It - Even after an hour he didn't want to get out. He found a stick that he loved poking holes into the snow with.

Tubing - now that was a lot of fun. There a little hill in the back yard we were able to slide down, only when 30 feet or so, but for the kids it was great. We all took turns. London liked the tube, but that was about it. She either needed to be on the tube or held, she wanted nothing to do with actually touching snow. (Even Houston came to play for a little while, he had to leap from spot to spot since much of the snow was taller than him).

Daddy's first snowman - ever. That was fun, can't wait to build another one.

Ben favorite thing was the snowball he built. As he carried it around it got bigger and bigger, which he loved. I am sure he's going to be sad next week when we go to grandma's house and it's melted.

Happy Halloween!

We had a lot of fun this year! Many great activities, here are some of the ones we got on camera.

The Farm - at Thanksgiving Point. In October they have a bunch of little Halloween activities for the kids which is great.

Pumpkin Patch at The Red Barn - This place is a blast, you get to go on a big hay ride, play in a maze, go down some slides and pick out your own pumkins. This is a family tradition.

Boo at the Zoo - last Saturday we visited the Zoo for their Boo at the Zoo event, while it was busy they kids had a lot of fun, got a lot of candy, plus we got to see the animals so it was a good day.

Carving Pumpkins - they turned out good.

Games at Grandmas - lot's of fun, and always a great place to party.

A shirt for the whole day!

Trick or Treating - it was a lot of fun, we were joined by neighborhood friends for the first 30 mins or so which the kids loved. We were shocked that the Minnie ears stayed on the whole time.
