I know last weekend left a lot of people with snow. Not us, we have a beautiful green front lawn right now, any of the few inches we had Saturday morning was melted by noon. However, Lisa's parents got a ton - over a foot. We decided to go play in it.
We all bundled up pretty good, but London was the best. All the clothes said 2T (which she wears), but with these she can grow into them for a while. It was like the little brother in the Christmas Story. She fell forward once and couldn't get back up without help, I tried not to laugh at her too much as she waddled around. At least she was warm (we do need better gloves for both the kids).
Ben Loved It - Even after an hour he didn't want to get out. He found a stick that he loved poking holes into the snow with.
Tubing - now that was a lot of fun. There a little hill in the back yard we were able to slide down, only when 30 feet or so, but for the kids it was great. We all took turns. London liked the tube, but that was about it. She either needed to be on the tube or held, she wanted nothing to do with actually touching snow. (Even Houston came to play for a little while, he had to leap from spot to spot since much of the snow was taller than him).
Daddy's first snowman - ever. That was fun, can't wait to build another one.
Ben favorite thing was the snowball he built. As he carried it around it got bigger and bigger, which he loved. I am sure he's going to be sad next week when we go to grandma's house and it's melted.
